I know every man and his dog has been posting about Wikileaks and Julian Assange; but my ire was definitely raised finding out that Amazon* are selling the 1-5000 wikileaks files as a Kindle download after withdrawing service from the wikileaks site, what abject hypocrisy.

Do you let off steam online, have you inadvertently bad mouthed a self serving demagogue? then you probably need to look into what you should do to extract yourself from a sticky situation!
Now I tend to rant and not think about the consequences but then I'm probably just venting my spleen to an empty blogoshpere cos not many people visit this quiet corner and, lets face it, who is this silly old twerp anyway ;-)

What are they thinking?
Apparently "the government is to revive a plan to store every email, webpage visit and phone call made in the UK, a move that goes against a pledge made by the Liberal Democrats ahead of the election." http://bit.ly/bGjqjg
Well I for one did not vote LibDem for this to happen and why I spoke out against some ISPs that proposed with the Phorm; the government trying to resurrect a similar idea would surely fall foul of the EU privacy directives that nearly got the last lot into hot water. http://bit.ly/3Ek27P
As for the Spending Review; the millionaires amongst the cabinet are not going to feel the cold, but the pensioner on £95 quid a week is going to notice the loss of services and support. How long before they think about poor laws once again, workhouse anyone?
What lazy thinking of the present crew in the Cabinet!

The glories of Bic
I love the reviews on Amazon; the following for a Bic pen:
"Bic Crystal Ballpoint Pen, Medium Point, Black (Office Product)
Whilst perfect as a general day to day writing implement, as I have many Pen Pals across the globe, I am wondering if it comes in any other languages? My foreign friends would be simply delighted to receive a missive from me in their native tongue and, not least, pretty damn impressed. If anyone can let me know that would great." http://amzn.to/aeiBQu
Even better for overpriced tat: http://amzn.to/cTJJ3Y

Time passes
It is amazing how the time flies by when the garden grows, last post was about needing a drop of rain and that was ages ago. Today it is hot and sunny after two days of rain and things just seem to shoot up.

strange weather part 2
April and early May were cold, so the garden has been very slow but the last two weeks has been very dry and warm; now we need a decent drop of rain to help things along.
That said the polytunnel has given us asparagus and strawberries and tons of salad leaves

What weather
I'm begining to lose patience with the weather, we have had the coldest wettest winter since I have lived in Wales! We've run out of firewood for the very first time and things that we've planted have either not germinated or been eaten by mice or somesuch. Enough already!

I have just had to fix yet another computer that the kids had put a password on, then they had forgotten the password, grrrr

No more snow
Hurrah, the snow has all melted, now the garden is a welly sucking quagmire! There was a vixen happily running around the back garden as we were eating breakfast, she looked very hungry so I don't think we'll let the chickens out today :(
